The things everyone asks us
Are there any hidden costs?
No. The fee covers everything: domain, hosting, email, security updates, backups, monitoring and privacy. The only extras are jobs you ask us to do, always quoted first.
If the website breaks, who pays?
We do. Charlie checks it every day: if an update goes wrong he alerts us straight away with a screenshot, and we restore the backup ourselves. Fixing it is included in the fee.
Do I have to buy a domain and hosting separately?
No, they are in the fee. The domain is registered in your name: if you ever leave, it stays yours.
Is the website mine?
Yes. Once the first year is paid, the website is fully yours: if one day you want to move it elsewhere, we hand everything over and help you with the move.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
The subscription lasts 12 months and renews from year to year. The first year also covers building the website, so it must be completed; from year two, written notice before renewal is all it takes.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes, it’s designed for that: a simple dashboard, manual included. Texts, photos, blog articles and, in the catalogue package, the products are yours to manage. If you’d rather we did it, we’ll give you a quote first.
Is the catalogue an online shop?
No: it shows your products with photos, descriptions and data sheets, but it doesn’t sell — no cart or payments.
How long does it take to go online?
Usually 3–4 weeks from when we have all the material (texts, photos, logo). The restaurant website is even faster: the platform is ready, you upload the menu and off you go.
What if I already have a website?
Even better: we keep what works and rebuild what doesn’t. We handle the switch, and the old website stays online until the new one is ready.
